Companies without employees

If you run your own business without employees, you can sign an insurance agreement with Fora. As long as you do not hire any employees, you only pay the base premium and do not need to report pay. Through the insurance agreement, you are covered by the Work injury insurance (TFA).

About Fora

Fora helps companies and their employees to navigate their collectively agreed pension and insurance solution. Our smart and affordable services make working life more secure and society more sustainable.

Reporting manual workers

Pay for manual workers must be reported to Fora every month. The report must be submitted no later than the last day of the month following the month of payment.

Pay attributable to another month

Pay should be reported for the month it was disbursed. This pay forms the calculation basis for the cost of the employees’ occupational pension each month.  This means that the provision for the employees’ occupational pension may vary from month to month, depending on the amount of the pay disbursed.

Inform your employees

Occupational pension and insurances are among the most common and important employment benefits you, as an employer, can offer your employees. As an employer, it is important that you can give employees information about the insurances and the occupational pension they have through their employment.

Manual workers, non-manual workers and self-employed

It is very important that you differentiate between manual workers, non-manual workers and the self-employed. Categorising errors have consequences for both pensions and insurance cover. Please note that the managing director/CEO can be a non-manual worker, manual worker or self-employed.

How to differentiate categories of personnel

It is very important that you differentiate between manual workers, non-manual workers and the self-employed. Through the insurance agreement with Fora, manual workers are covered by the SAF-LO occupational pension and insurance in the event of illness/sickness and parental leave. Non-manual workers and the self-employed are only covered by the TFA, Work Injury Insurance.
