Fora manages solutions for collectively agreed insurances on behalf of Sweden’s labour market parties and is the selection central for Avtalspension SAF-LO, Collective pension insurance. Fora is jointly owned by Svenskt Näringsliv – The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and LO – The Swedish Trade Union Confederation.
Together with other collective agreement companies, Fora plays an important role in society by simplifying what people often find complicated and difficult.
Collectively agreed pensions and insurances enhance working life security. That’s why Fora is committed to ensuring they are managed in the simplest and most efficient way possible.
Customers range from micro businesses to multinational companies with thousands of employees. The companies and organisations take out insurances and occupational pension for their employees with Fora.
The insurances are part of the collective agreement for companies that are either owned privately, or by municipalities and regions. Companies without collective agreements can also take out insurances at Fora.
Fora gathers data from the companies about how much they have paid out to the employees. Fora uses this data to calculate how much the company needs to pay towards insurances and occupational pension. The money paid to Fora is then transferred to insurance companies, pension companies and investment funds.
Fora is also the selection central for Avtalspension SAF-LO, Collective pension insurance. This means that manual workers make their selection of pension company via Fora.
