Your company has a VAT number that you were given when you registered the company’s operations in Sweden. Part of this number is your Swedish business registration number.
Your VAT number consists of 12 digits with “SE” as prefix. To obtain your business registration number, simply omit both the prefix (SE) and the last two digits of the VAT number.
Skatteverket (Swedish Tax Agency) provides an e-service where you can register a foreign company liable to pay taxes in Sweden. This applies both for you as a sole trader (a natural person) or representative of a company (a legal person).
